Recently Adrien’s work has been shown places like The Center at High Falls Gallery, LUX Lounge, Hirsute Hair Salon, Boulder Coffee Co., Java Junction in Brockport, Edward Jones Investment Gallery, and soon to come, Canaltown Coffee Roasters. Mr. Tucker’s work is also displayed in a rotating semi-permanent collection at Holler, a trendy clothing and skateboarding boutique in Irondequoit. Adrien’s work was also part of the Rochester Contemporary art auction of 2007.
Adrien was featured in the Democrat and Chronicle’s ‘Artist Spotlight’ in March ’07 and had a full-page feature in the Insider at the same time. Both articles pointed to Adrien’s March 31st Studio Tour and helped make it a big success. In November ’07 Adrien was featured in Democrat and Chronicle’s business section as a working professional artist.
Recently you could have seen Adrien displaying his work outside Edward Jones Investments on University Avenue during Muse-A-Thon, a fundraiser for Artwalk . Adrien was also selected as one of a handful of artists that showed their talent on University Ave. at the main Artwalk event. In addition, Rochester’s Public Market’s 3rd annual ‘Artist’s Row’ was a very successful venue for Adrien this year.
In December ’99, while living in High Point, North Carolina, Adrien painted 3001 paintings drawing attention from nearby newspapers in Greensboro and Winston-Salem, marking the event as an art record for Adrien and North Carolina. The Guinness Book of World Records could not account for this record for the understandable reason of “what classifies something as a painting? A painting could be as simple as a dot on paper.”
Adrien’s work can be seen at his studio at The Village Gate Square by appointment, or during a scheduled studio tour.
